Surge Protection Device (SPD)
Our Surge Protection Devices (SPDs) provide robust transient overvoltage protection for sensitive industrial equipment, electrical panels, and building installations. Available in Type 1, Type 2, and Type 3 configurations, they cover the full protection chain from the main incoming supply down to individual sensitive loads.
Type 1 SPDs handle direct lightning current with impulse currents up to 25 kA, while Type 2 devices protect against switching surges with nominal discharge currents up to 40 kA (8/20 µs waveform). Voltage protection levels (Up) are maintained at or below 1.5 kV to ensure equipment safety.
